IMPORTANT NOTICE from David Odom:
On February 14th I made a presentation at a CSI breakfast meeting on the Hidden Risks of Green Buildings. Due to a miscommunication between me and the CSI program committee it was incorrectly conveyed that this breakfast seminar was certified for CEU credits. This was not correct and I apologize for the misinformation. However, it does appear that AIA credits can be gained by self reporting the course via the following steps.
Those who attended the February seminar and wish to earn AIA credits may do so by executing the following steps:
- 1. Open AIA’s webpage at www.AIA.org
- 2. On the grey, horizontal bar place the cursor over “education.” The drop down box will then display the option to “Find Your Transcript.” Click on that link.
- 3. Type in your AIA member number in the upper right portion of the page with a box labeled “CES Transcript Login.”
- 4. Once on that page choose the “Self Report Form” and click “continue.”
- 5. This will take you to a field entry form to be completed by each attendee and sent to AIA. The representative from AIA also said you could print the form and complete by hand then fax it to AIA if that method was preferred. I believe the “Structured-Self Reported Program” is the type of activity they should choose.
For your information I have also included a PDF attachment of our course information.
Again, sorry for any confusion.
Regards
David Odom
